Dragon Designs - Prairie Planting

Prairie Planting

We post a selection of photographs showing prairie planting at the Hauser and Wirth gallery, Burton, Somerset.

Pied Oudolf, an internationally renowned landscape designer, was commissioned to create this visual masterpiece.

Using 26000 herbaceous plants and grasses he has produced a soft looseness to a traditional classic herbaceous bed.

Dragon Designs Landscape is  one of a select few garden design practises adapting the principle of prairie planting into smaller landscapes.
